Slow Jam
A slow jam is music with rhythm and blues and soul influences. Slow jams are commonly R&B ballads or downtempo songs, and are mostly soft-sounding with heavily emotional or romantic lyrical content. The earliest known use of the term is from a July 1, 1961 article in ''The Chicago Defender''. The earliest song to use the term as its title is the 1983 Midnight Star recording "Slow Jam" on their album '' No Parking on the Dance Floor''. ''Essence'' magazine compiled a list of the "25 Best Slow Jams of All Time", containing songs of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, and ''Complex'' compiled a list of 100 slow jams in "The Best Songs to Get You in the Mood". Rhythm And Blues
Rhythm and blues, frequently abbreviated as R&B or R'n'B, is a genre of popular music that originated within African American communities in the 1940s. The term was originally used by record companies to describe recordings marketed predominantly to African Americans, at a time when "rocking, jazz based music ... WKYS (93.9 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Washington, D.C., United States. The station is owned by Urban One through licensee Radio One Licenses, LLC, and broadcasts an urban contemporary radio format. Ballads
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Great Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century. They were widely used across Europe, and later in Australia, North Africa, North America and South America. While ballads have no prescribed structure and may vary in their number of lines and stanzas, many ballads employ quatrains with ABCB or ABAB rhyme schemes, the key being a rhymed second and fourth line. Founded on December 1, 2021, by slow jam DJ Randy Williams (DJ), Randy Williams, Slowjamastan is located on an empty plot of desert land along California State Route 78, State Route 78. A micronation is a political entity that aspirant state, claims independence and mimics acts of sovereignty as if it were a sovereign state, but lacks any legal recognition.
