RFactor 2
''rFactor 2'' is a computer racing simulator developed by Image Space Incorporated (taken over by Studio 397 in 2016) and released for Windows in 2013. Like its predecessor '' rFactor'', ''rFactor2'' is designed to be modified and used by professional racing teams for driver training and race car development. Much of its source code is derived from ''rFactor Pro'', which is also used by professional racers and most of the Formula One teams and NASCAR manufacturers. ''rFactor 2'' is designed to simulate any type of multi-wheeled vehicle of any era, including four-wheeled and six-wheeled vehicles with either two or four steered wheels. It features advanced physics, suspension, and tire model. Background After the initial success of '' Sports Car GT'' (1999), Image Space Incorporated used its self-developed software engine Motor1 for several racing titles, including the Formula One simulators '' F1 2002'' and '' F1 Challenge '99-'02''. iMotor is an umbrella term that covers ev ...

Racing Simulator
Sim racing is the collective term for racing games that attempt to accurately simulate auto racing, complete with real-world variables such as fuel usage, damage, tire wear and grip, and suspension settings. To be competitive in sim racing, a driver must understand all aspects of car handling that make real-world racing so difficult, such as threshold braking, how to maintain control of a car as the tires lose traction, and how properly to enter and exit a turn without sacrificing speed. It is this level of difficulty that distinguishes sim racing from arcade racing-style driving games where real-world variables are taken out of the equation and the principal objective is to create a sense of speed as opposed to a sense of realism like the Need for Speed series. Due to the complexity and demands of mimicking real-life driving, racing sims require faster computers to run effectively, as well as a steering wheel and pedals for the throttle and brakes for the immersion. While usin ...

GT Legends
''GT Legends'' is a sports car racing simulator for the Windows developed by SimBin Studios (later Sector3 Studios an KW Studios) and published by 10tacle Publishing. It is based on the 2005 FIA Historic Racing Championships for GTC and TC cars of the 1960s and 1970s. This is a modern-day championship for historic cars, and so the circuit designs in ''GT Legends'' are those of the modern era, contrasting with games such as ''Grand Prix Legends'' which are actually set in historic times. ''GT Legends'' has the same graphics engine as '' rFactor'' (developed by Image Space Incorporated), a similar physics engine but different multiplayer code. Reception ''GT Legends'' received "generally favorable" reviews, according to review aggregator Metacritic. ''Eurogamer'' praised the game's graphics, setting, handling, car selection, options, and difficulty. NASCAR Racing 2003 Season
''NASCAR Racing 2003 Season'', or ''NR2003'' for short, is a computer racing simulator released in February 2003 by Papyrus Design Group for Windows and Mac OS X. The game was the last to be released by the company before EA Sports bought the NASCAR license exclusively from 2004 to 2009 (parent company Sierra's successor company, Activision Blizzard, reacquired NASCAR rights in 2011, with '' NASCAR The Game: 2011''). The game included all of the 2003 NASCAR season tracks and many of the drivers, including Dave Blaney, who was absent in NASCAR Thunder 2004. In May 2003, Papyrus published a free DLC for the game, containing three fictional tracks. Gameplay ''NASCAR Racing 2003 Season'' contains 42 Winston Cup teams that were anticipated to run throughout the season, with the exception of the cars from Chip Ganassi Racing, as well as 23 Winston Cup series tracks, putting the player behind the wheel of a NASCAR stock car. Players are able to choose between testing sessions, off ...

Multiplayer Video Game
A multiplayer video game is a video game in which more than one person can play in the same game environment at the same time, either locally on the same computing system (couch co-op), on different computing systems via a local area network, or via a wide area network, most commonly the Internet (e.g. ''World of Warcraft'', '' Call of Duty'', ''DayZ''). Multiplayer games usually require players to share a single game system or use networking technology to play together over a greater distance; players may compete against one or more human contestants, work cooperatively with a human partner to achieve a common goal, or supervise other players' activity. Due to multiplayer games allowing players to interact with other individuals, they provide an element of social communication absent from single-player games. The history of multiplayer video games extends over several decades, tracing back to the emergence of electronic gaming in the mid-20th century. One of the earliest ins ...
