Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. She signed with Kakao M, LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a K-pop#Trainee system, trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with the Extended play, EP ''Lost and Found (IU EP), Lost and Found'' (2008). The Indiana Hoosiers are the intercollegiate sports teams and players of Indiana University Bloomington, named after the demonym for people from the state of Indiana.
