The ''Chronicle of Huru'' ( ro, Cronica lui Huru) was a forged narrative, first published in 1856–1857; it claimed to be an official chronicle of the medieval Moldavian court and to shed light on Romanian presence in Moldavia from Roman Dacia and up to the 13th century, thus offering an explanation of problematic issues relating to the origin of the Romanians and Romanian history in the Dark Ages. Dickson Huru
Dickson Huru (born 10 September 1990) is a Ugandan long-distance runner who competes in cross country running competitions. He has represented his country in the discipline four times at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, sharing the team bronze medal in 2011. Huru made his international debut in the junior race at the 2007 IAAF World Cross Country Championships, where he came 23rd and placed fourth in the team race with Uganda. His first international medal followed the year after at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games as he finished in second place to compatriot Moses Kibet in the 5000 metres. At the 2009 IAAF World Cross Country Championships he improved in the junior race to 17th place, but again the Ugandan team was one place off the medals. He set a series of personal bests on the track in Europe that year, running 3:53.57 minutes for the 1500 metres, 7:53.71 minutes for the 3000 metres and 13:32.28 minutes for the 5000 metres. Izaak Huru Doko
Izaak Huru Doko (also Izaac; 20 November, 1913 – 29 July, 1985) is a Timorese National Hero of Indonesia. The title was granted on 3 November 2006. Biography Doko was born in Sabu, Kupang, Timor, on 20 November, 1913. He completed his primary education at Dutch-run schools in Kupang before going to Bandung, West Java, to study at a school for teachers. There he met Herman Johannes, with whom he established the organisation Timorsche Jongeren (Young Timorese). He also founded political party called "Perserikatan Kebangsaan Timor" in Kupang, with the goal of Indonesian independence. During the Japanese occupation, following the overthrow of the Dutch colonial government, he was hired as the leader of Bunkyo Kakari in Kupang from 1st March 1942, a position he held until 1945. Doko wrote extensively on the condition of the Timorese people in Timor Syuho newspaper; he also represented his people in a Japanese-run local government. Mbira Huru
Mbira ( ) are a family of musical instruments, traditional to the Shona people of Zimbabwe. They consist of a wooden board (often fitted with a resonator) with attached staggered metal tines, played by holding the instrument in the hands and plucking the tines with the thumbs (at minimum), the right forefinger (most mbira), and sometimes the left forefinger. Musicologists classify it as a lamellaphone, part of the plucked idiophone family of musical instruments. In Eastern and Southern Africa, there are many kinds of mbira, often accompanied by the hosho, a percussion instrument. It is often an important instrument played at religious ceremonies, weddings, and other social gatherings.
