Globe (band)
was a dance-oriented Japanese pop band, formed in 1995 by the producer and songwriter Tetsuya Komuro. Originally consisting of Komuro, Keiko (musician), Keiko Yamada and Marc Panther, the group's Single (music), singles consistently entered the charts. In late 2002, Yoshiki (musician), Yoshiki, the drummer and pianist of X Japan, joined the group, but he left the band about a year later. Their Globe (album), self-titled 1996 debut album sold over four million copies and their 1998 single ,"Wanna Be a Dreammaker", won the grand prix award at the 40th Japan Record Awards, the Japanese record industry's highest honor. Komuro said that there would be some collaboration work with other artists with the artist title of ''Globe Featuring'', and ''Globe Extreme'' for collaborations with Yoshiki. Synthpop
Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop; ) is a music genre that first became prominent in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument. is a major music awards show, held annually in Japan that recognizes outstanding achievements in the Japan Composer's Association. TRF (band)
TRF (an abbreviation of TK Rave Factory) is a Japanese pop band. Its members are DJ Koo, Sam, Etsu, Yu-ki and Chiharu. History The band debuted as "trf" in 1993. From 1994 to 1995, the band released five singles produced by Tetsuya Komuro, each selling over a million copies under the Avex record label. In 1995, their song "Overnight Sensation: Jidai wa Anata ni Yudaneteru" received a Japan Record Award. The following year, the band changed their name to an all-capital "TRF" with their single "Hey! Osaka Dome
The (official name: ) is a baseball stadium located in Osaka, Osaka, Japan. Opened in 1997, the stadium was the home field of the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes. In 2005, the stadium became one of the homes of the Orix Buffaloes, a result of the merger between the Orix BlueWave and Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes. Prior to the Osaka Dome opening, the Buffaloes played their home games at Fujiidera Stadium.
