Global village describes the phenomenon of the entire world becoming more interconnected as the result of the propagation of media technologies throughout the world. Terry Flew is an Australian media and communications scholar, and Professor of Digital Communication and Culture in the Department of Media and Communication at the University of Sydney, Australia.
