f(x) (; ) is a South Korean girl group, consisting of Victoria, Amber, Luna, Krystal, and previously Sulli until her departure from the group in August 2015. Formed by SM, f(x) officially debuted in September 2009 with the release of the digital single "La Cha Ta". Their debut studio album, '' Pinocchio'' (2011), and their two extended plays '' Nu Abo'' and ''Electric Shock'' produced three number-one singles on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. ''Electric Shock'' is the second extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group f(x). The EP was released digitally on June 10, 2012, and released physically on June 13, 2012, under SM Entertainment. The EP's title track, "Electric Shock", as well as the EP, reached the top spot on the weekly Gaon Charts. The EP sold a total of more than 70,000 copies in South Korea. Composition The EP's single and title track, "Electric Shock", is an electropop and dance-pop song. SM Station is a digital music project by South Korean record label SM Entertainment. It undertook to release one digital single every Friday starting from February 3, 2016. The project's first season ended on February 3, 2017, with 52 songs. Its second season began on March 31, 2017, and concluded on April 6, 2018, with a total of 57 songs. In 2022, it introduced ''NCT Lab'', a sub-project dedicated to individual projects for NCT members. ''Red Light'' is the third studio album by South Korean girl group f(x), released on July 7, 2014, by SM Entertainment and Genie Music. It reached number one on the Gaon Album Chart and had two promotional singles, "Red Light" and "Milk". This is the last album with Sulli, who left the group one year after its release. Background and release ''Red Light'' has a dark and eerie concept, which f(x) said they liked. Krystal added that she liked this concept because she is often given roles that make her look pretty, and just this once she wanted something that would make her look darker and different.
