Building Consent Authority
Building consent authorities (BCAs) are officials who enforce New Zealand's regulatory building control system. The New Zealand Building Act 2004 sets out a registration and accreditation scheme and technical reviews. The Act creates operational roles for BCAs. Authorities The following are the approved building consent authorities listed on thMBIE Register Note that the register lists 80 BCAs but some of these are former territorial authorities that have been amalgamated into Auckland Council (such as Franklin District Council and North Shore City Council). The New Plymouth District is one of the districts of New Zealand within Taranaki. It includes the city of New Plymouth and smaller towns such as Inglewood, Ōakura and Waitara. In 1989, as a part of New Zealand-wide reorganisation of local government, New Plymouth City Council was merged with North Taranaki District Council, Inglewood District Council, and Clifton County Council to form the New Plymouth District Council. Nelson City Council
Nelson City Council is a unitary local authority. It has its headquarters in Nelson. History Nelson City Council was created in 1992. Local governance of Nelson began with Nelson Province in 1853, which covered the entire upper South Island. Provinces were abolished in 1876 and replaced with smaller counties and boroughs, including a Nelson Borough. In the 1989 local government reforms, Nelson was made part of the Nelson-Marlborough Regional Council, then in 1992 that regional council was split into multiple parts, including today's Nelson City Council. Matamata-Piako District is a local government area in the Waikato region of New Zealand. It lies to the east of the city of Hamilton. Geography The district encompasses the southern end of the Hauraki Plains and much of the Thames Valley, and is bounded in the east by the Kaimai Range. Kapiti Coast District Council
The Kapiti Coast District is a local government district of the Wellington Region in the lower North Island of New Zealand, 50 km north of Wellington City. The district is named after Kapiti Island, a prominent island offshore. The population of the district is concentrated in the chain of coastal settlements along State Highway One: Ōtaki, Te Horo, Waikanae, Paraparaumu, Raumati Beach, Raumati South, and Paekākāriki. Paraparaumu is the most populous of these towns and the commercial and administrative centre.
