Binoculars
Binoculars or field glasses are two refracting telescopes mounted side-by-side and aligned to point in the same direction, allowing the viewer to use both eyes (binocular vision) when viewing distant objects. Most binoculars are sized to be held using both hands, although sizes vary widely from opera glasses to large pedestal-mounted military models. Binocular Microscope
A binoviewer is an optical device designed to enable binocular viewing through a single objective. In contrast to binoculars, it allows partially stereoscopic viewing and partially monocular viewing, this because the eyes and brain still process the image binocularly, as both images are produced by the same objective and do not differ except for aberrations induced by the binoviewer itself. A binoviewer consists of a beam splitter which splits the image provided by the objective into two identical (but fainter) copies, and a system of prisms or mirrors that relay the images to a pair of identical eyepieces. Kevin Winston Rudolf (born February 17, 1983) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known for his 2008 debut single " Let It Rock" (featuring Lil Wayne), which peaked at number five on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and received quadruple platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). ''Binocular'' is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Kevin Rudolf, who, at the time, along with another mixer, used the pseudonym ''Binocular'' when the album was released. It was released on May 22, 2001. Background In the early 2000s, Rudolf began work on the group of songs that, nine months later, would form the basis for his major label debut. Written, produced and engineered by Rudolf himself, and mixed by Mark Saunders, the album took nine months to complete. Rudolf was signed to Madonna's record label, Maverick, which released the album under the pseudonym, ''Binocular''. A song from the album, "You", was used in the TV show ''Smallville'' (2001), and a song not appearing on the album, "Maybe You're Gone" (written by Danny Scherr), was later used over the end credits of the movie '' The Girl Next Door'' (2004). Binocular Rivalry
Binocular rivalry is a phenomenon of visual perception in which perception alternates between different images presented to each human eye, eye. When one image is presented to one eye and a very different image is presented to the other (also known as dichoptic presentation), instead of the two images being seen superimposed, one image is seen for a few moments, then the other, then the first, and so on, stochastic, randomly for as long as one cares to look. For example, if a set of vertical lines is presented to one eye, and a set of horizontal lines to the same region of the retina of the other, sometimes the vertical lines are seen with no trace of the horizontal lines, and sometimes the horizontal lines are seen with no trace of the vertical lines.
