Mohammad Zakir Hossain is a former One Day International cricketer from Bangladesh. He played his only ODI against Pakistan on 12 January 1998. He was a first-class and List A cricketer from Bangladesh. He is a right-handed batsman and right arm medium fast bowler. He played two times in Bangladesh National Cricket League for Chittagong Division in 2000–01 and for Khulna Division Khulna Division () is the second largest of the eight divisions of Bangladesh. Jakir Hossain Raju is a Bangladeshi film director. Besides film-making, he is also a story writer, screenplay and dialogue writer. He won three National Film Awards for the films ''Bhalobaslei Ghor Bandha Jay Na'' (2010) and ''Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na'' (2019). Life Jakir was educated in journalism at the University of Dhaka. He currently serves as a member of the Bangladesh Film Certification Board, Expert Committee member of the Bangladesh Film Archive, Director of the King Sejong Institute, Bangladesh & Head of the Media and Communication department at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Zakir Hossain (; born 10 December 1971) is a retired Bangladeshi footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He played for the Bangladesh national team from 1990 to 1999. Club career While training with Eastern Sporting Club, Zakir successfully trialed for the under-16 team of Mohammedan SC. In the same year, he was promoted to the senior team by coach Nasser Hejazi. In his First Division League debut, he came on as a substitute against BRTC Sports Club to score with his first touch. In 1990, he joined Abahani Limited Dhaka on a contract worth Tk 4.5 lakh. There, Zakir formed a midfield partnership with Russian midfielder Sergey Zhukov, which is deemed to be the main factor in the club's 1992 league triumph. In 1995, he joined Muktijoddha Sangsad KC on a contract worth Tk 12 lakh. In 1997, he returned to Abahani and was also appointed club captain.
