Younger Women's Task Force
The Younger Women's Task Force (YWTF) is an affiliate organization of the American Association of University Women. Founded in 2004, YWTF is committed to promoting and implementing programs and policies for the benefit, empowerment, and growth of women aged 20–39 so that they may thrive as productive, active, healthy, and prominent contributors in their communities and personal lives. It consists of 12 chapters with a total claimed membership of 3500. The American Association of University Women (AAUW), officially founded in 1881, is a non-profit organization that advances Justice, equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. The organization has a nationwide Social network, network of 170,000 members and supporters, 1,000 local branches, and 800 college and university partners. Its headquarters are in Washington, D.C. Equal Rights Amendment
The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) was a proposed amendment to the Constitution of the United States, United States Constitution that would explicitly prohibit sex discrimination. It is not currently a part of the Constitution, though its Ratification#Ratification in the United States Constitution, ratification status has long been debated. A woman is an adult female human. Before adulthood, a female child or adolescent is referred to as a girl.
