''You Shall Not Covet Thy Son's Wife'' (Spanish: ''No desearás la mujer de tu hijo'') is a 1950 Mexican drama film directed by Ismael Rodríguez and starring Fernando Soler, Pedro Infante and Carmen Molina. It is the sequel to the 1949 film '' The Black Sheep''.Riera pp. 90–91 It was shot at the Tepeyac Studios in Mexico City. The film's sets were designed by the art director Carlos Toussaint. Fernando Soler won the Ariel Award for Best Actor for his performance while Andrés Soler was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor award. Ismael Rodríguez
Ismael Rodríguez (October 19, 1917 – August 7, 2004) was a Mexican film director. Rodríguez rose to fame due to the movies he directed starring Pedro Infante, and directed many major stars, including Dolores del Río, María Félix, Toshiro Mifune, Jorge Negrete, Sara García, Luis Aguilar, Tito Guízar, Gloria Marín, Carmelita González, Antonio Aguilar, Columba Domínguez and Flor Silvestre. He directed the film ''Ánimas Trujano (film), Ánimas Trujano'' (1961) for which he was nominated for an Academy Awards, Oscar for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Foreign Language Film. Rodríguez's most renowned international film is ''Tizoc (film), Tizoc'', in which Pedro Infante starred alongside María Félix. For this role, Infante won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 7th Berlin International Film Festival. He died on 7 August 2004 at the age of 87. The Ariel Award for Best Actor (Spanish: Premio Ariel a Mejor Actor) is an award presented by the Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMACC) in Mexico. It is given in honor of an actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role while working within the Mexican film industry. In 1947, the 1st and 2nd Ariel Awards were held, with Domingo Soler and David Silva winning for the films '' La Barraca'' and ''Campeón Sin Corona'', respectively. With the exception of the years 1959 to 1971, when the Ariel Awards were suspended, the award has been given annually. Nominees and winners are determined by a committee formed every year consisting of academy members (active and honorary), previous winners and individuals with at least two Ariel nominations; the committee members submit their votes through the official AMACC website. Irma Aguirre Martínez (born 21 December 1934), commonly known as Irma Dorantes, is a Mexican actress. Career Her first film, ''Los tres huastecos'', was released in 1948. Dorantes participated in many Mexican films of the 1950s and 1960s. In 1963, she was nominated for a Silver Goddess Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in ''Sol en llamas'' (1962). Aside from acting, she is also a successful singer, obtaining gold and platinum records for her versions of the songs "Cuando no sé de ti", "Pequeña", "Ansiedad", "Recuerdos de Ipacarai", and "La Flor de la Canela".
