"You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll" is a song by American heavy metal band Twisted Sister, released in 1983 as the third and final single from their album of the same name. The song was written by Dee Snider and produced by Stuart Epps. "You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll" reached number 43 in the UK Singles Chart and remained in the top 75 for four weeks. Background Snider wrote "You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll" in 1981 and it was originally recorded for the band's debut album, ''Under the Blade'', in 1982. The album was originally going to be named after the song, but Martin Hooker, the head of the band's label, Secret Records, ultimately decided against the name and convinced the band to change it. "You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll" was also removed from the album, but was re-recorded and included on the band's second studio album in 1983, which was given the same name. Twisted Sister was an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in 1972 in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and later based on Long Island, New York (state), New York. The Media Research Information Bureau (MRIB) was a music chart research company that operated in the United Kingdom from 1981 to 2008. It was best known for compiling the chart data for ''The Network Chart Show'' which was broadcast by many TV and radio shows, as well as being published in many music newspapers and magazines. Philip James Harding (born 1957) is an English Record producer, music producer, Audio engineering, audio engineer, remixer, academic and author. Mark "The Animal" Mendoza (born Mark Glickman, July 13, 1956) is an American bassist and a member of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. He joined the band in 1978 after leaving the Dictators. Eddie Ojeda
Eddie "Fingers" Ojeda (born August 5, 1955) is an American musician best known as a guitarist of the heavy metal band Twisted Sister. He was a member of the band's classic lineup. Career In the early 1970s he recorded a couple of singles with a band called SPX, with Alan Diaz, Charlie Mercado and Frank Lopez. He joined Twisted Sister in 1975, becoming one of the band's classic members along with Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Mark Mendoza and AJ Pero. He played on each of the band's first five albums before their first breakup in 1988. In 1989 he started the band Scarecrow. Richard Hugh Blackmore (born 14 April 1945) is an English lead guitarist. He was a founding member and the guitarist of Deep Purple, one of the pioneering bands of hard rock.
