"You're a Big Girl Now" is a song by Bob Dylan, released on his 15th studio album, ''Blood on the Tracks'', in 1975. It is one of five songs on the album that Dylan initially recorded in New York City in September 1974 and then re-recorded in Minneapolis in December that year. The latter recording, made on December 27, 1974, became the album track. Composition and recording Like most songs on ''Blood on the Tracks'', "You're a Big Girl Now" tells a story about two lovers that are breaking up. In the lyrics, the first-person narrator begs his lover to give him one more chance. Some critics have interpreted the song as being inspired by the tumult in Dylan's marriage to his then-wife Sara Dylan, Sara. The 12th installment in the ongoing Bob Dylan ''Bootleg Series'', it was released by Legacy Records on November 2, 2018. My Morning Jacket is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1998. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Jim James, bassist Tom Blankenship, drummer Patrick Hallahan, guitarist Carl Broemel, and keyboardist Bo Koster. Zita Swoon is a Belgian indie rock group. They entered the music scene of Antwerp in 1993, still under the name A Beatband with the EP ''Jintro Travels The Word In A Skirt''. The group is typical of the music scene in Antwerp, with members playing in numerous other groups. Singer, musician and composer Stef Kamil Carlens founded the group together with Aarich Jespers and also played in dEUS. Lisa Anne Miller is an Australian country pop singer-songwriter and guitarist. Lloyd Cole (born 31 January 1961) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He was lead vocalist of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions from 1984 to 1989 and subsequently worked solo. The Sports
The Sports were an Australian rock group which performed and recorded between 1976 and 1981. Mainstay members were Stephen Cummings on lead vocals and Robert Glover on bass guitar, with long-term members such as Paul Hitchins on drums, Andrew Pendlebury on lead guitar and vocals, and Martin Armiger on guitar. Norman Raeben (1901 – 12 December 1978) was an American painter. He also taught painting. Life He was born in the Russian Empire, the youngest of the six children, four girls and two boys, of Yiddish author Sholom Aleichem. Aleichem's most famous character, Tevye the Milkman, gave the blueprint for the musical ''Fiddler on the Roof''. Raeben's father's name, Sholom Aleichem, is a pen-name that means "peace unto to you".
