Xuzhou–Yancheng High-speed Railway
The Xuzhou–Yancheng high-speed railway is a high-speed railway in China. It has a design speed of . History In November 2014, construction was expected to take 4.5 years. The line opened on 16 December 2019. Route From Xuzhou East, the line heads southeast and serves Guanyin Airport, Suining, and Suqian. The line subsequently meets the Suzhou–Huai'an railway and follows its route, but the two lines don't intersect. Passengers can change between them at Siyang. The line then heads south to Huai'an East, where it joins the Lianyungang–Zhenjiang high-speed railway. After leaving Huai'an, the line heads east to serve Funing South and Jianhu. At Jianhu, passengers can change to the Xinyi–Yancheng railway. Xuzhou East Railway Station
Xuzhou East railway station (; or Xuzhoudong railway station) is a station dedicated for high-speed railways in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, People's Republic of China. It is served by the Beijing–Shanghai high-speed railway and Xuzhou-Lanzhou high-speed railway (Eurasia Continental Bridge passageway). The new station for high-speed rail services was officially put into use on June 30, 2011. It is located at the approximate halfway point between Beijing and Shanghai on the Beijing-Shanghai railway. Xinyi–Changxing Railway
The Xinyi–Changxing railway or Xinchang railway (), also known as the Xinchang line (), is a single-track railway line in eastern China between the cities of Xinyi in Jiangsu Province and Changxing County in Zhejiang Province. It runs north-south through the entire length of Jiangsu Province and the northern tip of Zhejiang. Major cities along route include Huai'an, Yancheng, Hai'an, Jingjiang, Jiangyin and Yixing. Including a spur from Hai'an to Nantong, the Xinchang railway is in total length. It used a train ferry to cross the Yangtze River, but this closed in 2019.
