Willie Los'e
William Keith Los'e (22 July 1967 – 7 September 2022) was a n rugby union player who played as a lock. After retiring from playing, he worked as a radio host and TV commentator. Early life Los'e was born on 22 July 1967, the son of Kuini and Tavake Los'e. He grew up in West Auckland and attended Kelston Boys' High School, where he was head prefect. Playing career Los'e played three matches for the New Zealand Colts in 1988. Eight years later, he played for Tonga in the 1995 Rugby World Cup, playing all three pool stage matches. Los'e also played in the National Provincial Championship for Auckland, North Harbour and Marlborough. Los'e played in Italy, while he was studying Italian since 1989/90 to 1992/93 for Rugby Prato and for Messina Rugby. Los'e played in Japan for Yamaha Júbilo. The 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens was the eighth edition of the Rugby World Cup Sevens organised by World Rugby. The 2022 tournament, comprising 24 men's and 16 women's teams as previously, was played over three days in one venue in September. It took place at the Cape Town Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa between 9 and 11 September 2022. It was the first ever Rugby World Cup Sevens in Africa. The dates were chosen to take into account in the Commonwealth Games tournament which took place in July the same year. Sky Sport is a group of sports-oriented television channels operated by New Zealand's satellite pay-TV company, Sky. History Sky Sport 1 is the original Sky Television sport channel in New Zealand. It was first introduced in 1990 as Sky Sport on the Sky UHF service. When Sky Sport began it operated between the hours of noon and around midnight, and occasionally screened live sports events outside these hours. By July 1991, Sky Sport commenced 24-hour transmission with a direct feed of ESPN at certain times during the week. World Rugby Sevens Series
The World Rugby Men's Sevens Series is an annual series of international rugby sevens tournaments run by World Rugby featuring national sevens teams. Organised for the first time in the 1999–2000 season as the IRB World Sevens Series, the competition was formed to promote an elite-level of international rugby sevens and develop the game into a viable commercial product. The competition has been sponsored by banking group HSBC since 2014. The season's circuit consists of 10 tournaments that generally begin in November or December and last until May. The venues are held across 10 countries, and visits five of the six populated continents. The United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, France and England each host one event.
