"Would You Believe" is the first single taken from Swedish pop group Ace of Base's compilation album '' Hidden Gems''. Background and release The song was initially recorded for inclusion on the band's fourth studio album ''Da Capo'', with Jenny singing the choruses and Linn and Jenny sharing leads on verses. In 2005, a second version, dubbed the "summer version", was re-recorded in Stockholm and reproduced with new co-production by Tommy Ekman. The track was supposed to be a "restart for making a new album," according to Jonas, but this never came to fruition. This version features Linn on choruses and Jenny on verses, and is one of the final songs recorded by Linn during her tenure with Ace of Base. Both versions were shared on Facebook on 24 March 2011. An additional third version with vocals provided by Jonas's ''d'Cats'' project was shared on Facebook on 3 March 2011. ''Would You Believe'' is an album by the English singer Billy Nicholls, released in April 1968. Billy Nicholls was originally hired by Andrew Loog Oldham as a staff writer for Oldham's Immediate Records. Oldham was so entranced by the Beach Boys' 1966 album, ''Pet Sounds'' that he enlisted songwriter Billy Nicholls to record a British response. The Small Faces' Steve Marriott can be heard very prominently on "Would You Believe?," despite Oldham's attempts to drown him out with heavy orchestration. Oldham wanted this to be the British ''Pet Sounds'' but financial difficulties with the label caused it to be shelved (it only achieved an initial promotional run of 100 copies, as Immediate IMCP009) before it ever hit the streets. In 1998, Nicholls re-released it on his own label ''Southwest Records''. It was made more widely available on Sequel Castle Communications (CMQDD1358) records in 1999. ''Would You Believe?'' is the fourth UK album by the Hollies, released in 1966. Overview The album includes covers of Simon and Garfunkel's "I Am a Rock", Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Sixteen", and Evie Sands' "I Can't Let Go", which became a major hit for the Hollies. This was the Hollies' last album with original bass player Eric Haydock, who took a leave of absence from the group after the American tour that followed the last recording session for the album, missing the recording session for the follow-up single "Bus Stop". Both the stereo and mono mixes of ''Would You Believe?'' were digitally remastered at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) by Peter Mew in March 1998. ''Would You Believe?'' is an album by the American musician Ray Charles, released in 1990. He supported the album by touring with B.B. King. ''Would You Believe?'' was Charles's first album for Warner Bros. Records. The first single was "I'll Take Care of You". Production The album was produced by Jimmy Lewis, who also wrote some of the songs. It is evenly divided between songs describing the joys of love and songs about the sorrows of love. Charles employed drum machines and synthesizers for the first time on an album. He provided the backing vocals on many of the tracks. "Your Love Keeps Me Satisfied" is a cover of the Billy Preston song. "Living Without You" was written by Johnny Mandel. "Let's Get Back Where We Left Off" is a duet with Peggy Scott. The Moniker
Daniel Karlsson (born 31 August 1981 in Norrahammar, Jönköping, Sweden) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He later on took the name The Moniker as his stage name. As Daniel Karlsson Karlsson participated in Idol 2007. He finished in fourth place behind winner Marie Picasso, runner-up Amanda Jenssen and third-placed Andreas Sjöberg. His interpretation of John Farnham's "You're the Voice" was included in the album ''Det bästa från Idol 2007'' (The Best from Idol 2007). In October 2008, Karlsson released his first single, called "Would You Believe". A music video was also released to accompany the song. ''Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends'' is the debut album of English rock singer Screaming Lord Sutch. Recording began in May 1969 at Mystic Studios in Hollywood and it was released on Cotillion Records in 1970. The album featured an all-star line-up with contributions from Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page (who also produced the album) and John Bonham, guitarist Jeff Beck, session keyboardist Nicky Hopkins, session guitarist Deniel Edwards and Jimi Hendrix Experience bassist Noel Redding. It was made by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and the first episode screened on 5 February 1970. Each episode ran for 30 minutes and screened in black and white, on Sunday nights, at 7.30pm. It was described as, a “game of truth and/or lie about Australia’s early days and ways.” It featured two teams of three panelists telling each historical stories where two of the stories were fake.
