Elena Borisovna Dobronravova (russian: Елена Борисовна Добронра́вова; 21 July 1932 – 24 January 1999) was a Soviet and Russian actress. Born July 21, 1932 in Moscow in the family of artists of the Moscow Art Theatre Boris Dobronravov (1896-1949) and Maria Yulievna Dobronravova (1900-1964). She studied at the Moscow Art Theatre School (1950-52) at the Moscow Art Theatre named after Maxim Gorky. In 1954 she graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute (artistic director - Anna Orochko). After education Dobronravova joined the troupe of the Vakhtangov Academic Theater. Vera Fyodorovna Panova (russian: Вера Фёдоровна Панова; – March 3, 1973) was a Soviet novelist, playwright, and journalist. She was a recipient of the Stalin Prize in 1947, 1948, and 1950. Early life Vera was born into the family of an impoverished merchant (later an accountant) in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. Her father, Fyodor Ivanovich Panov, built canoes and yachts as a hobby, and founded two yachting clubs in Rostov. When she was five, her father drowned in the Don River. After her father's death, her mother worked as a saleswoman. As a girl, she was taught by a family friend, an old school teacher named Anna Prozorovskaya.
