Workers' Party Of Germany
The Workers' Party of Germany (, abbr. PdAD) was a minor political party in Germany. It saw its mission in overcoming the left-right political divide via the ''Querfront'' strategy. The party modeled itself around the Workers' Party of Korea and its Juche ideology, which it viewed as national communist. According to Michael Koth, founder and leader of the party, it attracted and united members of the DKP, former FDJ, as well as revolutionary nationalists and nationalist socialists. It saw itself as a "Union of national communists and national revolutionaries" in the spirit of the Strasser brothers, Ernst Niekisch, and Anton Ackermann that pursued a "German Socialism". The PdAD believed that the German Democratic Republic had not failed on the social, but rather the national question; which is why the next socialism on German soil must, according to the party, be a national and German socialism in order to survive. Michael Koth
Michael Koth (born 16 October 1955) is a German National Bolshevik, supporter of North Korea, and advocate for the Querfront political strategy. He was a member of multiple socialist parties until becoming the leader of the national-communist Workers' Party of Germany. Koth later went on to become a founding member of the '' Kampfbund Deutscher Sozialisten'', a German neo-nazi organisation, which aimed to unite the far-left and far-right through the Querfront strategy. Life Koth was born on 16 October 1955 in Berlin-Steglitz, where he grew up as an only child. Koth played football in ''Realschule'' and came into contact with the West Berlin section of the FDJ through his friends, which he subsequently joined on 7 October 1969. The Combat League of German Socialists () short-form: KDS, was a German Querfront and neo-Nazi organization founded on the 1 May 1999 and dissolved in 2008. History In 1997, Michael Koth would meet with Thomas Brehl and other west German neo-nazis in Langen to discuss the possibility of founding a new Querfront organization after his political party, the Workers' Party of Germany had failed. The KDS was subsequently founded on the 1 May 1999 in Krimnitz, Lübbenau near Cottbus. The founding involved primarily the aforementioned Koth and Brehl, but also the prominent neo-nazi activists Michael Thiel and Frank Hübner. Other neo-nazis, such as Axel Reitz were also present. Embassy Of North Korea, Berlin
The Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Berlin was the diplomatic mission of North Korea to the Federal Republic of Germany. It is located at Glinkastraße 5–7 in the district Berlin-Mitte. Since 24 April 2017, the ambassador has been Pak Nam-Yong. The North Korean Embassy rented out its main building to the hotel company ''EGI GmbH'', who operated the "City Hostel Berlin" in the building and thus generated foreign exchange for North Korea. According to a UN resolution from 2016 (resolution 2270) it is prohibited to rent or lease any property from North Korea. This is to prevent North Korea from generating foreign currency that the People's Republic could use to procure materials for its nuclear program.
