The Women's Party (Korean: 여성의당) is a South Korean single-issue political party founded on International Women's Day 2020 that advocates for feminism. The party calls for greater representation of women and equality in politics and an end to all forms of violence, discrimination and inequality against women in the workplace. National Assembly Of South Korea
The National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, often shortened to the National Assembly in domestic English-language media, is the unicameral national legislature of South Korea. Elections to the National Assembly are held every four years. The latest legislative elections were held on 15 April 2020. The National Assembly has 300 seats, with 253 constituency seats and 47 proportional representation seats; 30 of the PR seats are assigned on additional member system, while 17 PR seats use the parallel voting method. The unicameral assembly consists of at least 200 members according to the South Korean constitution. Green Party Korea
Green Party Korea is a political party in South Korea. The party was established in March 2012. It is a continuation of the Korea Greens, created following initial discussions in 2011. The party was established in response to the Fukushima Nuclear Crisis of Japan. Green Party Korea is a member of the Global Greens and the Asia Pacific Greens Federation. As a result of the party only getting 0.48% in the 19th national parliamentary election in April 2012, the party was disbanded by the National Election Administration Office. However, the paragraph 4 of article 41 and the subparagraph 3 of paragraph 1 of article 44 of the Political Parties Act, which had revoked registration of parties and banned use of the titles of the parties whose obtained numbers of votes had been less than 2% of the total number of effective votes, were ruled unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of Korea on 28 January 2014. Basic Income Party
The Basic Income Party (, BIP) is a single-issue political party in South Korea advocating for a universal basic income (UBI). History The Basic Income Party came into existence when the ninth leadership board of the Labor Party led by Yong Hye-in resigned on 15 July. Before the official founding of the party on 19 January 2020, the Basic Income Party began establishing local chapters of the party across the cities and provinces of South Korea with the catch phrase ₩"600,000 a month for all." Tarot Card Reading
Tarot card reading is a form of cartomancy whereby practitioners use tarot cards to purportedly gain insight into the past, present or future. They formulate a question, then draw cards to interpret them for this end. A traditional tarot deck consists of 78 cards, which can be split into two groups, the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. French-suited playing cards can also be used; as can any card system with suits assigned to identifiable elements (e.g., air, earth, fire, water).
