Wishbone's Dog Days Of The West
''Wishbone's Dog Days of the West'' is a PBS feature-length telefilm that aired on March 13, 1998. It was shot in Galisteo and Santa Fe, New Mexico. The film was aired on PBS stations on March 13, 1998 and released to video on June 9, 1998. It is the first and only TV movie in the '' Wishbone'' franchise. Plot It starts out with Joe and Wishbone going to the Summer Carnival. Melina and the Oakdale Glee Club are singing on stage; the wiring breaks, causing the stage lights to collapse, but not before Wishbone and Wanda save the children. The reporter "congratulates" her. Then, in the Wild West, Long Bill Longley and his best friend, Tom Merwin (Brent Anderson), team up to stop a villain named Calliope Catesby. Meanwhile, the same sneaky TV reporter tries to make Wanda Gilmore ( Angee Hughes) seem as if she is the town tyrant. It is up to Wishbone and his friends to come to Wanda's rescue. Larry Brantley
Larry Brantley (born October 30, 1966) is an American voice actor and a former stand-up comedian and radio spokesman, best known as the voice of Wishbone (TV series), Wishbone, a Jack Russell Terrier who was featured in a Wishbone (TV series), PBS children's television series. Brantley, who went to Conroe High School, specializes in character voices. He was also a voice actor on the animated project for children called ''Boz the Bear'', and voiced Corporal Franklin Paddock in ''Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood''. He was also a volleyball coach in McKinney, Texas for a team called "The Straight Aces" and "Orange Crush". He currently stands as a cast member at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Dallas. Mikaila Dominique Enriquez (born December 15, 1986), known as Mikaila, is an American singer, actress, and songwriter from Edmond, Oklahoma. She is best known for her role as Melina Finch in the PBS series '' Wishbone''. Early life Mikaila became interested in singing when she was 3 years old. She is of French, Spanish and Native Mexican descent. Mikaila's family were members of Citychurch. Mikaila has an older sister named Jessica. At the age of three she began singing gospel music.
