Wisconsin's 58th Assembly District
The 58th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of central and eastern Washington County, including the villages of Jackson, Newburg, and Slinger, and most of the city of West Bend. It also contains the West Bend Municipal Airport and the Jackson Marsh State Natural Area. The district is represented by Republican Rick Gundrum, elected to the seat in a January 2018 special election following the death of previous officeholder Bob Gannon. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve. Located in Eastern Wisconsin, the district comprises part of central Fond du Lac County, including the city of and the village of . Patricia Strachota
Patricia "Pat" Strachota (born June 29, 1955) is an American government administrator and Republican politician from West Bend, Wisconsin. She is the chair of the Wisconsin Ethics Commission, since June 2022. She has been a member of the commission since its creation in 2016, appointed by Wisconsin Assembly speaker Robin Vos and reappointed by him in 2021. She previously served 10 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, and was majority leader from March 2014 to January 2015. Mequon, Wisconsin
Mequon () is the most populous city in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 25,142 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. Located on Lake Michigan's western shore with significant commercial developments along Interstate 43, the community is a suburb in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Despite being the third-largest city in Wisconsin by land area, approximately half of Mequon's land is undeveloped, and agriculture plays a significant role in the local economy. When the first white settlers arrived in the 1830s, the Mequon area was inhabited by the Menominee, Potawatomi, and Sauk people. Waupaca County ( ) is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 51,812. The county seat is Waupaca. The county was created in 1851 and organized in 1853. It is named after the Waupaca River, a Menominee language name meaning "place of tomorrow seen clearly." History Ancient indigenous peoples constructed earthworks that expressed their religious and political concepts.
