Located in northwest Wisconsin, where Wisconsin meets Lake Superior, the district comprises all of Ashland County, Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield County, Wisconsin, Bayfield, Burnett County, Wisconsin, Burnett, Douglas County, Wisconsin, Douglas, Iron County, Wisconsin, Iron, Polk County, Wisconsin, Polk, Sawyer County, Wisconsin, Sawyer, and Washburn County, Wisconsin, Washburn counties. The 75th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in northwestern Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Polk County and most of Burnett County. It includes the cities of Amery and St. Croix Falls and the villages of Balsam Lake, Centuria, Clayton, Clear Lake, Dresser, Frederic, Grantsburg, Luck, Milltown, Osceola, Siren, and Webster, and part of the village of Turtle Lake. Angela Stroud (born 1981) is an American educator, author, and Democratic politician from Ashland, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and represents Wisconsin's 73rd Assembly district since January 2025. Early life and career Stroud was born in McAllen, Texas, a city roughly ten miles north of the Mexican city of Reynosa, on January 24, 1981. The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Together with the smaller Wisconsin Senate, the two constitute the legislative branch of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Chequamegon–Nicolet National Forest
The Chequamegon–Nicolet National Forest (; the ''q'' is silent) is a U.S. National Forest in northern Wisconsin in the United States. Due to logging in the early part of the 20th century, very little old growth forest remains. Some of the trees there were planted by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s.
