''Windy'' is a 1968 studio album by Astrud Gilberto, arranged by Eumir Deodato, Don Sebesky, and Patrick Williams (composer), Patrick Williams. Reception The AllMusic review by Jason Ankney awarded the album three and a half stars and said that the album "proves one of Astrud Gilberto's most consistent and sublime efforts, artfully straddling the division between Brazilian bossa nova and American sunshine pop...the songs possess a lithe, shimmering beauty that perfectly complements Gilberto's feathery vocals". Ankeny reserves criticism for "the cloying sweetness that undermines so many of her mid-period Verve LPs", highlighting the duet with her son Marcelo on "The Bare Necessities". Radio Windy was a local radio station in Wellington, New Zealand, Wellington, New Zealand. It was started in 1973 and in 1993 was rebranded as The Breeze (New Zealand radio station), The Breeze. History Radio Windy first started by ''Capital City Radio Limited'' broadcasting in Wellington in 1973 on 1080 kHz with the call sign 2XW. In 1976 the station moved to 890 kHz and in 1978, after the AM band spacing in New Zealand was adjusted from Channel spacing, 10 kHz to 9 kHz, the station moved to 891 kHz. In 1990, Radio Windy began broadcasting on 100.0 MHz in Wellington and the station was renamed to ''Windy FM'' and also continued to broadcast on 891 kHz. In 1991 the 100.0 MHz frequency was taken over by ''The Frader Group'' used to start the very first More FM station in Wellington. Windy is a Czech company providing interactive weather forecasting services worldwide. The portal was founded by Ivo Lukačovič in November 2014, initially focusing on wind animation. It has since expanded to include various essential meteorological parameters, such as temperature, pressure, relative humidity, cloud base, and additional panels featuring more advanced data.
