''When the Party's Over'' is a 1993 film directed by Matthew Irmas and starring Sandra Bullock. It was first released on March 12, 1993. Plot Frankie (Elizabeth Berridge), Amanda (Sandra Bullock), MJ (Rae Dawn Chong), and Banks (Kris Kamm) are housemates, who are fresh out of college. Frankie is a social worker, who is dating Taylor, a lawyer (Brian McNamara). Amanda, an artist, meets and falls in love with Alexander Midnight, a performance artist (Fisher Stevens). She is also trying to guide her younger brother, Willie (Michael Landes), with wisdom, patience, and compassion, after the death of their mother. The third roommate, MJ, is a stockbroker, who is actually very promiscuous and has a penchant for drinking. She even sleeps with Taylor, thus betraying Frankie. "When the Party's Over" is a song by American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish and the second single from her debut studio album, ''When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?'' (2019). It was released on October 16, 2018, through Darkroom and Interscope Records. It was written and produced by Finneas O'Connell. Background and recording The concept behind "When the Party's Over" was inspired after Finneas O'Connell, Eilish's brother, had left his date's house "kind of for no reason" and was driving home alone late at night, simultaneously unhappy at the end of the relationship but also feeling a sense of safety through a lack of full investment in it. O'Connell later approached Eilish with a draft of the track, and they decided to perform it live "a full year before it came out," which O'Connell later recalled was "such a terrible idea" as he feared that fans would deem the studio recording inferior to the live version. ''Hearsay'' is the second solo studio album by American recording artist Alexander O'Neal. It was originally released in July 1987, on the labels Tabu and Epic as the follow-up to O'Neal's critically and commercially successful 1985 album ''Alexander O'Neal''. ''Hearsay'' explores similar genres to those of ''Alexander O'Neal'' including pop, R&B, soul, post-disco, funk, and adult contemporary music, while also incorporating a newer genre, new jack swing.
