"When It's Over" is a song written by Hank Cochran that was originally recorded by American country artist Jeannie Seely. Released as a single by Monument Records, it reached the top 40 of the US country songs chart in 1967. Seely found success with the Grammy Award-winning hit " Don't Touch Me" (1966). Her soul-inspired vocal delivery was praised by music professionals, who gave her the nickname of "Miss Country Soul". A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove.
