Wheeler, Alabama
Wheeler (also known as Wheeler Station) is an unincorporated area, unincorporated community in Lawrence County, Alabama, Lawrence County, Alabama, United States. Wheeler had a United States Postal Service, post office at one time, but it no longer exists. Wheeler has two sites on the National Register of Historic Places, the Tidewater region of Virginia, Tidewater-type cottage known as Bride's Hill and the former home of Joseph Wheeler, Joseph Wheeler Plantation, Pond Spring. Demographics Wheeler Station appeared on the 1880 U.S. Census as an unincorporated community of 114 residents. This was the only time it appeared on census records. Dr. Abdul Kalam Island, formerly known as Wheeler Island, is an island off the coast of Odisha, India, approximately east of the state capital Bhubaneswar. Wheelers Bay
Wheelers Bay is a small bay on the south-east coast of the Isle of Wight, England. It lies to the east of Ventnor. It faces south-east towards the English Channel, its shoreline is in length. A section of the bay, to the side of the slipway, is used as dry-storage for boats; in recent years this has been targeted by thieves. The bay is home to an open-air café known as ''The Seapot''. The bay is accessed by a concrete slope from the road above the bay or by walking along the seawall either from Ventnor or Horseshoe Bay. The Isle of Wight Coastal Path runs the length of the bay along the seawall. Wheeler Island is one of the middle islands of the Family Islands group within the locality of Dunk in the Cassowary Coast Region, Queensland. Australia. It is located approximately 15 km East of Tully Heads. The Aboriginal name for this island is ''Toolgbar''. Wheeler Island is believed to be named after Lieutenant F.S. Saint Johns Range () is a crescent-shaped mountain range about long, in Victoria Land, Antarctica. It is bounded on the north by the Cotton Glacier, Miller Glacier and Debenham Glacier, and on the south by Victoria Valley and the Victoria Upper Glacier and Victoria Lower Glacier. Wright Inlet () is an ice-filled inlet receding westward between Cape Little and Cape Wheeler along the east coast of Palmer Land, Antarctica. Location Wright Inlet is on the Lassiter Coast of southern Palmer Land, opening onto the Weddell Sea to the east. The Hutton Mountains are to the southwest, the Playfair Mountains to the west and the Werner Mountains are to the northwest. It is north of Keller Inlet and south of Howkins Inlet. Piggott Peninsula lies on the north side of the inlet. Cape Wheeler to the north and Cape Little to the south define the mouth of the inlet. The Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge is a national wildlife refuge (NWR) located along the Tennessee River near Decatur, Alabama. Named after Major General Joseph Wheeler, it was established to provide a habitat for wintering and migrating birds in the Eastern United States.
