''What Happens Next'' is the sixteenth studio album by guitarist Joe Satriani, released on January 12, 2018, through Sony Music. Background On ''What Happens Next'', Satriani consciously went in a simpler direction than on his previous album, '' Shockwave Supernova''. As opposed to an alien alter ego, this time he wrote songs "about a human being, two feet on the ground, heart pumping, with emotions, dreams, and hopes. That seemed to be the direction I really was yearning for". ''What Happens Next?'' is a documentary film about the Canadian singer-songwriter, Dan Mangan. It explores Mangan's ideas on fate and destiny as he's about to perform in his biggest performance to date, a sold out show at the Vancouver, British Columbia Orpheum. It premiered on CBC Television on August 25, 2012. The film was directed and produced by Brent Hodge and Jon Siddall. It was nominated for a Leo Award in 2013. Synopsis The film starts by introducing Dan Mangan, a singer-songwriter from Vancouver, who has built his reputation through continuous touring, with and without a backing band. He counters those who say that "making it in life has everything to do with luck" with a quote from his father, that those who work the hardest tend to be the luckiest. ''What Happens Next'' is the eighth studio album by English post-punk band Gang of Four. It was released on 24 February 2015 through Metropolis Records and Membran record label. It is the band's first album to feature John "Gaoler" Sterry on vocals, following vocalist Jon King's departure, which left the guitarist Andy Gill as the sole original member of the band. The previous drummer Mark Heaney, who already recorded several songs for the album left the band during the recording, and being replaced by Jon Finnigan to finished the drum parts for the album. Ill Repute is an American hardcore punk band from Oxnard, California, United States, formed in 1981. They are noted for popularizing the "Nardcore" sound in the mid-1980s hardcore punk scene, and recorded for Mystic Records. They first broke into the scene with their recording "Clean Cut American Kid" on Poshboy Records for Rodney on the ROQ, Volume III. ROTR III also featured the Vandals, Channel 3, and the Bangles. "Clean Cut American Kid" would be played on radio stations around the world and is now featured on the Netflix streaming show "Stranger Things". Their record ''What Happens Next?'' Davy Knowles
Davy Knowles (born 30 April 1987) is a Manx blues guitarist and singer. Knowles currently tours as a solo artist, but is formerly of the blues-rock band Back Door Slam, as well as working under the name Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam for a short period of time. With Back Door Slam, he played lead guitar and sang on their debut album, '' Roll Away''. After a split-up with bassist Adam Jones and drummer Ross Doyle, Knowles released the first and only album under the name Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam, '' Coming Up for Air'', on 19 May 2009. Knowles drew his musical influences from blues musicians that he grew up listening to such as Rory Gallagher, Dire Straits, Peter Green, and Cream. Marc Norman (born 1941 in Los Angeles, California) is an American screenwriter, novelist and playwright. Early life Norman graduated in 1964 with a M.A. in English Literature from the University of California.
