''What's Up Superdoc!'' is a 1978 British sex comedy film, directed by Derek Ford and starring Harry H. Corbett, Christopher Mitchell, Melvyn Hayes, Julia Goodman, Hughie Green, Bill Pertwee, Angela Grant, Chic Murray, Beth Porter and Sheila Steafel. It was produced by Michael L. Green. Derek Ford
Derek Ford (6 September 1932, Essex – 19 May 1995) was an English film director and writer, most famous for sexploitation films such as ''The Wife Swappers'' (1970), ''Suburban Wives'' (1971), ''Commuter Husbands'' (1972), ''Keep It Up, Jack'' (1973), ''Sex Express'' (1975) (also filmed in a graphic hardcore version), ''What's Up Nurse!'' (1977) and ''What's Up Superdoc!'' (1978). Marianne Stone (23 August 1922 – 21 December 2009) was an English character actress. She performed in films from the early 1940s to the late 1980s, typically playing working class parts such as barmaids, secretaries and landladies. Mary Ruth Maxted (née Quilter; 30 November 1945 – 19 August 1979), known professionally as Mary Millington from 1974 onwards, was an English model and pornographic actress. Her appearance in the short softcore film ''Sex is My Business'' led to her meeting with magazine publisher David Sullivan, who promoted her widely as a model, and featured her in the softcore comedy '' Come Play With Me'', which ran for a record-breaking four years at the same cinema.
