''Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am'' is an Australian six-part sketch comedy television series that began screening on ABC2 on 8 December 2016. ''Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am'' is written, directed and stars Adele Vuko, Greta Lee Jackson and Sarah Bishop. Guests include David Collins, Matt Okine, Christiaan Van Vuuren, Aunty Donna, Henry Stone, Paul Ayre and Veronica Milsom. It is produced by Michelle Hardy and executive produced by Donna Andrews. ABC TV Plus (formerly ABC2 and ABC Comedy) is an Australian free-to-air television channel owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and part of its ABC Television network. The channel broadcasts a range of general entertainment programming. Between the hours of 5am and 7.30pm daily, the channel's bandwidth is used for the ABC Kids channel for young children. The channel was launched on 7 March 2005 as ABC2. It was rebranded as ABC Comedy on 4 December 2017, with a format focused on comedy programming. Matt Okine
Matthew Okine (born 12 April 1985) is a stand-up comedian, author and radio presenter from Brisbane, Australia. Okine is of Ghanaian and European descent, born to his father, Mack Okine, and his mother Roslyn, who died of breast cancer when he was 12. He was a co-host on the Triple J breakfast show with Alex Dyson from 2014 to 2016. Career Okine performed stand-up on '' Rove'', at the Sydney Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Christiaan Van Vuuren (born 1982), known as The Fully Sick Rapper in his first video series, is an actor, writer, director and video blogger from Sydney, Australia. He often collaborates with his brother, Connor Van Vuuren, and their YouTube channel is called Van Vuuren Bros. Aunty Donna is an Australian surrealist comedy group formed in Melbourne in 2011. The group consists of performers and writers Mark Bonanno, Broden Kelly, and Zachary Ruane alongside writer and director Sam Lingham, director Max Miller, and composer Thomas Zahariou. Henry Stone is an Australian comedian, writer, and director.
