The Wenzhou–Fuzhou railway, also known as the Wenfu railway, () is a dual-track, electrified, high-speed rail line running between Wenzhou in Zhejiang and Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian. The line has a total length of and forms part of the Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen passenger-dedicated railway. Construction began in August 2005, and the line opened to freight traffic on July 1, 2009. Passenger service began on September 28, 2009. The Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen railway, also called the Hangshen railway (, formerly or ) is the double track, dual-track, Railway electrification system, electrified, high-speed rail in China, high-speed rail lines (HSR) in service along the southeastern coast of China, linking the Yangtze River Delta on the East China Sea and Pearl River Delta on the South China Sea. It is one of the eight arterial high-speed rail corridors of the national 4+4 high-speed rail grid.
