Warszawa Młynów Railway Station
Warszawa Młynów railway station is a railway station in the Wola district of Warsaw, Poland. It was built on the Warsaw orbital line, which goes through Warszawa Gdańska station. In 2011, it was used exclusively by Koleje Mazowieckie which run the KM9 services from Warszawa Wola through the north of the Masovian Voivodeship to Działdowo, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, via Legionowo, Nasielsk, Modlin, Ciechanów and Mława, at all of which some trains terminate. The station was originally opened in 1988, named Warszawa Koło for the Koło neighborhood of the Wola district. It was closed in March 2017 for the reconstruction of the Warszawa Zachodnia−Warszawa Gdańska railway line. Wola
Wola () is a district in western Warsaw, Poland. An industrial area with traditions reaching back to the early 19th century, it underwent a transformation into a major financial district, featuring various landmarks and some of the tallest office buildings in the city. Ciechanów
Ciechanów is a city in north-central Poland, seat of the Ciechanów County in the Masovian Voivodeship. As of December 2021, it has a population of 43,495. TVP Info is a Polish free-to-air television news channel, run by the public state broadcaster TVP. It is focused on newscasts, mainly broadcasting nationwide news bulletins. Młynów, Warsaw
Młynów () is a neighbourhood of the western borough of Wola in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. History Since late Middle Ages the area of modern Młynów belonged to the nearby village of Wielka Wola. Initially mostly occupied by arable land, in 1792 the Evangelical Cemetery of the Augsburg Confession was founded there. Soon afterwards additional cemeteries were built nearby: Christian Powązki Cemetery and the Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery (both in modern times located in the neighbourhood of Powązki). In the 19th century the rapidly growing city swallowed Wola and its fields, located right outside the city limits were a convenient location for numerous windmills, which became the namesake for the entire area: Młynów's literal translation is "Place of Mills". Młynów is a M2 (Warsaw), M2 metro line Warsaw Metro station in Wola district, by the intersection of Górczewska and Syreny streets. It is part of the extension of M2 (Warsaw), Line M2 from Rondo Daszyńskiego metro station, Rondo Daszyńskiego to Wola, with construction started in 2016. All three stations opened on April 4, 2020. The station is 168.2 m in length, and the cubic capacity at 56 636 m³. The blue colour scheme of the station refers to the nearby swimming pool in Moczydło estate. Warszawa Zachodnia station, in English Warsaw West, is a railway and long-distance bus station in Warsaw, Poland on the border of Ochota and Wola districts. The railway station is the westernmost terminus of the Warsaw Cross-City Line.
