Wak'ani
Wak'ani (Aymara ''wak'a'' girdle, -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with a girdle", Hispanicized spelling ''Huacani'') is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, high. It is located in the La Paz Department at the border of the Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality, and the Sud Yungas Province, Yanacachi Municipality. Wak'ani lies north-east of the city of La Paz, north to north-west of the mountains Jathi Qullu, Sirk'i Qullu and Mik'aya. Mik'aya
Mik'aya (Aymara for abyss in the water, also spelled ''Mikhaya'') is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department at the border of the Pedro Domingo Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality, and the Sud Yungas Province, Yanacachi Municipality. Mik'aya lies north-east of the city of La Paz, south-east of the mountains Ch'uñawi and Wak'ani and north of the mountains Jathi Qullu and Sirk'i Qullu. (labelled ''Mucaya'') Mik'aya lake and stream __NOTOC__ Mik'aya is also the name of a small nearby lake and the name of a stream west of the mountain. Pedro Domingo Murillo Province
Pedro Domingo Murillo is a province in the Bolivian La Paz Department. It was created on January 8, 1838, with the name Cercado and on October 17, 1912, during the presidency of Eliodoro Villazón, its name was changed in honor of Pedro Domingo Murillo, protagonist of the revolution of June 16, 1809. The province contains the Bolivian administrative capital, La Paz, as well as the major city of El Alto. Geography The Cordillera Real traverses the province. Sud Yungas or Sur Yungas (Aymara: ''Aynach Yunka jisk'a'') is a province in the Bolivian department of La Paz. It was created during the presidency of José Manuel Pando on January 12, 1900. Cordillera Real (Bolivia)
The Cordillera Real is a mountain range in the South American Altiplano of Bolivia. This range of fold mountains, largely composed of granite, is located southeast of Lake Titicaca, and east of the Bolivian capital of La Paz, measuring 125 km in length and 20 km in width. Despite the fact that it is only 17° south of the Equator, the Cordillera Real is relatively densely glaciated. This is due to its proximity to the Amazon lowlands with its associated moist air masses. Mururata
Mururata is a mountain in the Cordillera Real of Bolivia. Approximately 35 km East of La Paz, the Mururata lies to the North of the Illimani. The Mururata offers accessible climbing, as its shape does not contain difficult obstacles. Local legend states that the shape of Mururata, a fairly flat-top as compared to neighboring Illimani, became that way due to an act of jealousy. Apparently Mururata was taller than the Illimani, so Illimani chopped off Mururata's head. Another version says that Mururata looked down on the Inca.
