WWE Women's World Championship
The Women's World Championship is a women's professional wrestling world championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE, defended on the Raw brand division. It is one of two women's world titles for WWE's main roster, along with the WWE Women's Championship on SmackDown. The current champion is Iyo Sky, who is in her first reign. She won the title by defeating Rhea Ripley on the March 3, 2025, episode of '' Raw''. Established as the SmackDown Women's Championship, it was unveiled on the August 23, 2016, episode of ''SmackDown'' as the counterpart to the WWE Women's Championship, which became exclusive to Raw as a result of the 2016 WWE Draft and renamed as Raw Women's Championship. WWE Raw, Raw is a WWE brand extension, brand of the American professional wrestling promotion WWE that was established on March 25, 2002. Brands are divisions of WWE's roster where wrestlers are assigned to perform on a weekly basis when a brand extension is in effect. Wrestlers assigned to Raw primarily appear on the brand's weekly television program, ''WWE Raw, Monday Night Raw'', which began in 1993, also referred to simply as ''Raw''. It is one of WWE's two main brands, along with SmackDown (WWE brand), SmackDown, which was made in 2002 after absorbing the WCW. They are collectively referred to as WWE's main roster. The brand extension was discontinued between August 2011 and July 2016. 2023 WWE Draft
The 2023 WWE Draft was the 17th WWE Draft produced by the American professional wrestling promotion WWE between their Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The two-night event began with the April 28 episode of ''Friday Night SmackDown'' (in Corpus Christi, Texas) and concluded with the May 1 episode of ''Monday Night Raw'' (in Fort Worth, Texas), with ''SmackDown'' airing on Fox and ''Raw'' on the USA Network. This was the first draft held since 2021 and the first under the creative direction of Triple H. In addition, this was the last draft before the TKO Group Holdings acquisition. Shane McMahon
Shane Brandon McMahon ( ; born January 15, 1970) is an American businessman and retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler best known for his tenures in WWE. The son of Vince McMahon, he is a fourth-generation wrestling promoter as a member of the McMahon family. He began working in WWF (World Wrestling Federation, now WWE) at age 15, starting in their warehouse, where he filled merchandise orders. SummerSlam (2016)
The 2016 SummerSlam was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the 29th annual SummerSlam and took place on August 21, 2016, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for the second consecutive year, held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. It was the first PPV event held after the brand extension, which was reintroduced in July, went into full effect. Twelve matches were contested at the event, including three on the Kickoff pre-show.
