WTVM (channel 9) is a television station in Columbus, Georgia, United States, affiliated with ABC. It is owned by Gray Media, which provides certain services to dual NBC/ CW+ affiliate WLTZ (channel 38, owned by SagamoreHill Broadcasting) and Fox affiliate WXTX (channel 54, owned by American Spirit Media) under separate shared services agreements (SSAs). WTVM/WRBL/WVRK Tower, also known as the WTVM TV Mast, is a 533-meter guyed mast used for television broadcasting by WTVM, WRBL and FM radio broadcasting by WVRK-FM. It is located near Cusseta, Georgia in the United States at . At the time of its completion during 1962, the WTVM/WRBL/WVRK tower was the tallest structure in the world. However, during 1963, the WIMZ-FM tower in Knoxville, Tennessee exceeded it. Presently, despite being comparable in height to the Willis Tower in Chicago, the WTVM/WRBL/WVRK tower is not even the tallest structure in Cusseta, Georgia. WRBL (channel 3) is a television station in Columbus, Georgia, United States, affiliated with CBS and owned by Nexstar Media Group. Its studios are located on 13th Avenue in Columbus, and its transmitter is located in Cusseta. History WRBL first went on the air on November 15, 1953—just over a month after NBC affiliate WDAK-TV (channel 28, now WTVM on channel 9).
