Vujadin Boškov
Vujadin Boškov ( sr-cyr, Вујадин Бошков, ; 16 May 1931 – 27 April 2014) was a Serbian association football, football player and manager (association football), manager. A midfielder, he played 57 matches for the Yugoslavia national football team, Yugoslavia national team. He experienced his greatest success as a coach in 1989–90 European Cup Winners' Cup, 1990, when he won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup with UC Sampdoria, Sampdoria. He also reached the List of European Cup and UEFA Champions League finals, European Cup final in 1981 European Cup Final, 1981 with Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid and 1992 European Cup Final, 1992 with Sampdoria. 1992 European Cup Final
The 1992 European Cup final was a football match held on 20 May 1992 at Wembley Stadium, London, between Sampdoria of Italy and Barcelona of Spain. Barcelona won the game 1–0 after extra time, thanks to a Ronald Koeman free kick, to record their first triumph in the competition. It was the first to have a group stage involving the eight second-round winners split into two groups, and the winner of each one met in the final. In doing so, they became the second Spanish club to win the tournament and the 19th overall. This was the last final before the competition was re-branded as the Champions League. The 1989–90 season of the European Cup Winners' Cup was won for the only time by Sampdoria in the final against Anderlecht, 2–0 at Nya Ullevi in Gothenburg, on 9 May 1990.
