Santa Coloma De Farners
Santa Coloma de Farners () is a spa town and capital of the ''comarca'' of the Selva, in Catalonia, Spain, and of the judicial district of Santa Coloma. It is situated on the edge of the Selva Depression and of the Guilleries. The local economy is mainly commercial, given the status of the town as capital of the comarca, although summer tourism, agriculture and forestry products also contribute. The urban centre is to the north and west of the main modern communication routes, although the C-253 road links the town with the main N-II route and the AP-7 ''autopista'' and to the Renfe railway station at Sils (10 km). The GE-533 runs through the northern part of the municipality, linking it with Vic to the west and with Riudellots de la Selva, Vilobí d'Onyar and Girona-Costa Brava Airport to the east. Sils () is a municipalities of Spain, municipality in the Comarques of Catalonia, ''comarca'' of Selva (comarca), Selva, in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated next to a former lake, which was drained in the nineteenth century. Jordi Matamala Muntadas (born 18 May 1976) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. He amassed Segunda División totals of 199 matches and ten goals over six seasons, representing in the competition Girona and Recreativo (three years apiece). Ferran Corominas Telechea (born 5 January 1983), known as Coro, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a forward. Onyar
The Onyar (; Spanish language, Spanish: Oñar ; ''Undarius'' in Latin) is a Spanish river in Girona, Catalonia that begins at the Guilleries massif at the apex of the Catalan Transversal Range and the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range, Pre-Coastal Range. It joins the Ter River, Ter at the city of Girona, and crosses the city from south to north, separating the city into the old part (on the right side) and the more modern part (on the left side). During its course through the city, the Onyar river is joined by the waters coming from the Monar or Conda irrigation channel (which in turn comes from the Ter (river), Ter river), a channel that used to irrigate the orchards in the "Mercadal" area. As it journeys further north, the river converges with the Güell and the Galligans rivers near the crossing with the railway. Finally, it merges into the Ter river near the Pedret neighborhood.
