Vika and Linda, also known as Vika and Linda Bull, are an Australian vocal duo consisting of Vika Susan Bull (born 1966) and her younger sister, Linda Rose Bull . They came to prominence after singing backing vocals in Joe Camilleri's band The Black Sorrows from 1988. Uromys Vika
The Vangunu giant rat (''Uromys vika''), locally known as the vika, is a giant arboreal species of rodent in the family Muridae. The rat was discovered in the island of Vangunu in the Solomon Islands in 2015, after years of searching based on local stories, and described in 2017. It was identified as a new species on the basis of its skull, skeleton and a detailed DNA analysis. The single individual initially collected from a felled tree ('' Dillenia salomonensis'') measured long, weighed between and had orange-brown fur. Its diet is believed to include thick-shelled nuts like ngali nuts and coconuts, and probably fruits. The species is likely to be designated critically endangered, due to the small amount of forest habitat (about ) remaining on the island and ongoing logging. Vikafestivalen was a Norwegian pop and rock festival held at Mo i Rana in northern Norway. It has succeeded Sjonstock, a festival arranged in the outskirts of Mo I Rana every year for 10 years (1995–2005) until it was moved closer to the city and renamed Vikafestivalen (2006). In December 2008 the festival board announced that the festival was cancelled. History The Sjonstock festival started out as a birthday celebration in Sjona outside the city of Mo i Rana, but fast became immensely popular among local youths. Soon enough they attracted big national performers, and grew steadily each year. The festival manager was Mads Mjelle, he was also the general manager of the Kulturapparatet foundation which co-organised the festival. Otherwise, all operations were on a voluntary basis. Vika Line
The Vika Line () is a light rail section of the Oslo Tramway in Oslo, Norway. It runs between Wessels plass, through the neighborhood of Vika and Aker Brygge, before arriving at Solli. The section is served by SL79 trams on line 12. The line is owned by the municipal company Kollektivtransportproduksjon, and operated by its subsidiary Oslo Sporvognsdrift. The line was opened on 21 August 1995 to serve the newly redeveloped areas with a high concentration of jobs. From 1875 to 1961, the Vika area has also been served by the Vestbanen Line.
