Valencia Basket Club Sociedad Anónima Deportiva, S.A.D., commonly known as Valencia Basket (), is a professional basketball team based in Valencia, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB and the EuroCup Basketball, EuroCup, and his Valencia Basket (women), women's team was created in 2014 and promoted to Liga Femenina de Baloncesto, Liga Femenina Endesa in 2018, with home games played at the Pavelló Municipal Font de San Lluís, Font de Sant Lluís. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. The Liga Femenina de Baloncesto, also known as Liga Femenina Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the highest level of sports league, league competition for women's basketball in Spain. Club Baloncesto Peñas Huesca is a Spanish professional basketball team based in Huesca, Aragón. The team currently plays in league LEB Plata. History The team played in Liga ACB, where they stayed from 1983 to 1996. After winning the relegation play-off, the sold their spot in the league to Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and they joined the new second tier league, Liga LEB. The Tercera FEB, formerly known as Liga EBA (''Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado''), is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB, Primera FEB and Segunda FEB. The 1994–95 ACB season was the 12th season of the top Spanish professional basketball league, since its establishment in 1983. It started on 8 September 1994 with the first round of the regular season and ended on 21 May 1995 with the finals. FC Barcelona Banca Catalana won their fifth ACB title, and their eighth Spanish title by defeating Unicaja at the fifth leg of the finals in one of the most epic moments in the history of the league. Promotion and relegation is used by sports leagues as a process where teams can move up and down among divisions in a league system, based on their performance over a season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are sometimes called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in a lower division are ''promoted'' to a higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season.
