The Committee on Education and Labor is a standing committee of the United States House of Representatives. There are 50 members in this committee. Since 2019, the chair of the Education and Labor committee is Robert Cortez Scott of Virginia. James Richardson Comer Jr. (born August 19, 1972) is an American politician from the Commonwealth of Kentucky who represents the commonwealth's 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives.
