Bageshwar District
Bageshwar is a district of Uttarakhand state in northern India. The town of Bageshwar is the district headquarters. Prior to its establishment as a district in 1997 it was part of Almora district. Bageshwar district is in Kumaon, and is bounded on the west and northwest by Chamoli District, on the northeast and east by Pithoragarh District, and on the south by Almora District. As of 2011 it is the third least populous district of Uttarakhand (out of 13), after Rudraprayag and Champawat. History The area, that now forms Bageshwar district, was historically known as Danpur, and was ruled by Katyuris during the 7th century AD. Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium
Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium is located in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. It can seat 25,000 spectators and was inaugurated on 18 December 2016 by Harish Rawat, the then Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. It is spread over 70 acres and has football & cricket grounds, a track for 800-metre race, a hockey field, badminton courts, a lawn tennis court, a boxing ring, and a swimming pool. Uttarakhand Super League
The Uttarakhand Super League (USL) is a top state-level football league sanctioned by both the All India Football Federation and Uttarakhand State Football Association, that represents the sport in the state of Uttarakhand. The league is organized by the Uttarakhand Adventure Sports Pvt. Ltd. with the goal of promoting football throughout the state. The league began in July 2016 with fourteen teams playing the inaugural season. Udham Singh Nagar is a district of Uttarakhand state in northern India. Rudrapur is the district headquarter. Tehri Garhwal District
Tehri Garhwal is a district in the hill state of Uttarakhand, India. Its administrative headquarters is at New Tehri. The district has a population of 618,931 (2011 census), a 2.35% increase over the previous decade. Pithoragarh District
Pithoragarh district is the easternmost district in the state of Uttarakhand. It is located in the Himalayas and has an area of and a population of 483,439 (as of 2011). The city of Pithoragarh, located in Saur Valley, is its headquarters. The district is within the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand state. The Tibet plateau is situated to the north and Nepal is to the east.
