Elsa Viveca Torstensdotter Lindfors (December 29, 1920 – October 25, 1995) was a Swedish-American stage, film, and television actress. She won an Emmy Award and a Silver Bear for Best Actress. Bo Östen Undén (25 August 1886 – 14 January 1974) was a Swedish academic ( J.D.), civil servant and Social Democratic politician who served as acting Prime Minister of Sweden 6–11 October 1946, following the death of Per Albin Hansson (1885-1946). Einar Af Wirsén
Carl Einar Thure af Wirsén (20 April 1875 – 5 January 1946) was a Swedish Army officer, diplomat and writer. Originally an officer, he was sent into the diplomatic service after World War I and served as a military attaché in Constantinople and Sofia where he witnessed the Armenian genocide. From the Ottoman Empire and the Balkans, af Wirsén came to Poland and witnessed the Second Polish Republic, country's resurrection. After serving in London, Tallinn, Reval and Riga, he was sent as envoy to Bucharest, Athens and Belgrade in 1921. After working in the Mosul Question, Mosul Commission, af Wirsén was sent to Berlin, where he would stay for the next 12 years as envoy. Margit Sahlin
Margit Rigmor Sahlin (1914–2003) was a pioneering Swedish Lutheran priest. On Palm Sunday, 10 April 1960, she became one of the first three female priests in Sweden when she was ordained by Archbishop Gunnar Hultgren in the Saint Catherine Foundation chapel at Österskär near Stockholm. Jan-Erik Roos
Jan-Erik Ingvar Roos (16 October 1935 – 15 December 2017) was a Swedish mathematician whose research interests were in abelian category theory, homological algebra, and related areas. He was born in Halmstad, in the province of Halland on the Swedish west coast. Roos enrolled at Lund University in 1954, and started studying mathematics with Lars Gårding in 1957. Under Gårding's direction he wrote a thesis on ordinary differential equation, and graduated in 1958 with a licentiate degree. Later that year he went to Paris on a doctoral scholarship; there, he gravitated towards the mathematical environment at the Institut Henri Poincaré, and the various seminars held there. Anders Fredrik Regnell
Anders Fredrik Regnell (8 June 1807 – 12 September 1884) was a Swedish physician and botanist. He studied in Uppsala and received his medical doctorate in 1837. As a student he served as assistant to Anders Retzius in Stockholm. He served in various capacities at the '' Serafimerlasarettet'' in Stockholm, and participated as ship surgeon aboard the corvette "Jarramas” on its expedition in the Mediterranean Sea during 1839–40. Regnell was born in Stockholm, Sweden, but because of poor health, he suffered from a serious lung disease. Joachim Daniel Andreas Müller (7 September 1812 – 18 September 1857) was a Swedish gardener and writer. Some sources identify him simply as Daniel Müller while others resequence his names, most commonly to Daniel Andreas Joachim Müller. Davud Monshizadeh
Davud Monshizadeh (; 28 August 1914 – 13 July 1989) was an Iranian Nazi, the founder of SUMKA (the "Iranian National Socialist Workers Party"), and a supporter of Nazism in Germany during World War II and in Iran after the war. He was a member of the SS and worked as a Nazi radio propagandist in Germany. He was also a scholar in Iranian studies who later became a professor of Iranian languages at Uppsala University, Sweden. Career Monshizadeh was born in Tehran, Iran. He is mainly remembered for his political life, most notably being the leader of SUMKA, but he is also recognized for his contributions to Iranian linguistics, particularly to the study of Modern and Middle Iranian languages. Bruno Andreas Liljefors (; 14 May 1860 – 18 December 1939) was a Swedish artist. He is perhaps best known for his nature and animal motifs, especially with dramatic situations.
