Up10tion (; pronounced ''eobtensyeon'' for "up tension", acronym for Unbelievable Perfect 10 members Teenager Idol Open Now) is a South Korean boy band formed by TOP Media in 2015. The group currently consists of seven members: Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bitto, Sunyoul, Gyujin, Hwanhee and Xiao. The group debuted with their first extended play ''Top Secret (Up10tion EP), Top Secret''. In 2017, they made their Japanese debut with EP ''ID''. Originally as ten, Jinhoo, Lee Jin-hyuk and Kim Woo-seok (singer), Kim Woo-seok departed from the group on February 28, 2023. Kim Woo-seok (singer)
Kim Woo-seok (, born October 27, 1996), formerly known by the stage name Wooshin (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. He debuted as a member of South Korean band Up10tion in 2015. In 2019, he rose to prominence after finishing second on ''Produce X 101'', which made him a member of X1 (group), X1. He debuted as a solo artist with the release of his first extended play, ''1st Desire (Greed)'', on May 25, 2020. Early life Kim was born on October 27, 1996, in Daedeok District, Daejeon, South Korea. He is the only child in his family. On February 28, 2016, Kim was enrolled at Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts, majoring in acting and K-pop. He later transferred to , enrolling in the Department of Entertainment and Media. Lee Jin-hyuk (, born Lee Sung-joon on June 8, 1996), formerly known by the stage name Wei (), is a South Korean rapper, singer and actor. He debuted as a member of South Korean boy band UP10TION in 2015. In 2019, he rose to fame after finishing 14th on '' Produce X 101''. Lee debuted as a solo artist with the release of his first extended play, ''S.O.L'', on November 4, 2019. He debuted as an actor on MBC's drama '' Find Me in Your Memory'' as Jo Il-kwon. Ennik Somi Douma (born March 9, 2001), known professionally by her Korean name Jeon Somi (), is a South Korean and Canadian singer signed under The Black Label. King Of Mask Singer
''The King of Mask Singer'' () is a South Korean singing competition program presented by Kim Sung-joo, with introductions by voice actor . It airs on MBC on Sunday, starting from April 5, 2015 as a part of MBC's '' Sunday Night'' programming block. It was a holiday special program, but it was so popular that it became a regular program. Format Each competition lasts for two episodes, with the singers competing one-on-one in three elimination rounds. They are given elaborate masks which are made by designer and gloves to wear in order to conceal their identity, thus removing factors such as popularity, career and age that could lead to prejudiced voting. In the first round, both contestants sing the same song, while in the second and third round they each sing a solo song. TOP Media usually works with Sony Music Entertainment Korea for distribution of its musical releases. History TOP Media was founded as ND Entertainment (New Dream Entertainment) by Andy and his former long-time manager at SM Entertainment, Lee Jae-hong, in 2005.
