United States Women's National Cricket Team
The United States women's cricket team is the team that represents the country of the United States in international women's cricket matches. Although the United States has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1965, the team made its international debut in 2009. The United States is one of the leading associate teams in the ICC Americas region and has participated in two editions of the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier and two editions of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier, although it is yet to qualify for any World Cups. USA Cricket (USAC) is the governing body of cricket in the United States. USA Cricket operates all of the United States national representative cricket sides, including the men's and women's national teams and youth teams, as well as Major League Cricket (MLC), which is the highest level of domestic American Twenty20 cricket. Julia Price
__NOTOC__ Julia Clare Price (born 11 January 1972) is a former cricketer for the Australian women's cricket team. She made her first-class debut in 1995 for Queensland Women and her Test debut against New Zealand at Melbourne in February 1996. Her last Test was against England at Worcester in 2005. A right-handed batter she has scored 114 runs at Test level with her best innings an outstanding unbeaten 80 against England. A specialist wicket-keeper, she has taken 20 catches and completed two stumpings in Tests. Nine of her Tests have been in Ashes games against England, her other Test opponent being New Zealand. She has played 84 One-day internationals for her country, scoring 365 runs at an average of 15.86 with her top score of 38 coming against the Ireland Women's team. Twenty20
Twenty20 (abbreviated T20) is a shortened format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the county cricket, inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of twenty over (cricket), overs. Together with First-class cricket, first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being played at the highest level, both internationally and domestically. A typical Twenty20 match lasts just over 3 hours, with each innings lasting around 90 minutes and an official 10-minute break between the innings. Women's Twenty20 International
Women's Twenty20 international (WT20I) is the shortest form of women's international cricket. A women's Twenty20 international is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between two of the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. The very first Twenty20 International match was played on 5 August 2004 between England and New Zealand at Hove, six months before the first Twenty20 International match was played between two men's teams. The Women's T20 World Cup, the highest-level event in the format, was first held in 2009. In April 2018, the ICC granted full women's Twenty20 international (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between two international sides after 1 July 2018 will be a full WT20I. Robin Singh (cricketer)
Rabindra Ramanarayan "Robin" Singh (born 14 September 1963) is an Indian former cricketer and cricket coach. He represented India in one Test and 136 ODIs between 1989 and 2001. An all-rounder, he was a left-handed middle-order batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He has coached the Indian Premier League's Mumbai Indians since 2010 and the Caribbean Premier League's Barbados Tridents since 2013. He has also coached the Deccan Chargers in the IPL's inaugural year. As a player, Singh was known for his calmness and ability to perform under pressure. He brought to Indian cricket world class fielding. He was a part of the squad which finished as runners-up at the 2000 ICC Champions Trophy. Born in Trinidad to Indo-Trinidadian parents, Singh moved to India in 1984 and studied at Madras University during which he played club and college-level cricket. The United States of America Cricket Association (USACA), headquartered in Miami Beach, was the national governing body for all cricket in the United States, until it was replaced by USA Cricket in 2019. The board was formed in 1965. The Zimbabwe women's national cricket team represents Zimbabwe in international women's cricket. The team is organised by Zimbabwe Cricket, a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Zimbabwe's women team made its international debut in 2006, at the ICC Africa regional qualifier for the Women's Cricket World Cup. Roselyn Emmanuel
Roselyn Emmanuel is a Saint Lucian former cricketer who played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter. She appeared in three One Day Internationals for the West Indies at the 1997 World Cup. She also played for, and captained, the United States at the 2009 Americas Championship. She played domestic cricket for Saint Lucia. Career Emmanuel represented the West Indies at the 1997 World Cup in India, appearing in all but one of her team's games. However, she only kept wicket against New Zealand, instead playing as a specialist opening batter in her other two appearances (against India and Denmark). Emmanuel continued playing for Saint Lucia for several years after her World Cup appearances. However, she never returned to the West Indian team. The Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier (until 2018, the Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier) is an international cricket tournament that serves as the final step of the qualification process for the Women's T20 World Cup. The qualifier was held for the first time 2013 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier, in 2013, with the top three teams qualifying for the World Cup.
