USA Basketball (USAB) is a non-profit organization and the governing body for basketball in the United States. The organization represents the United States in FIBA, and the men's and women's national basketball teams in the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. Its chairman of the board is retired General Martin Dempsey. The organization was founded in 1974 as the Amateur Basketball Association of the United States of America (ABAUSA). 2017 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup
The 2017 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup (Arabic: 2017 كأس العالم لكرة السلة تحت 19 سنة فيبا) was the 13th edition of the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup, the biennial international men's youth basketball championship contested by the U19 national teams of the member associations of FIBA. It was held in Cairo, Egypt from 1 to 9 July 2017. Canada won the gold medal by defeating Italy in the final match 79–60. 2003 FIBA Under-19 World Championship
The 2003 FIBA Under-19 World Championship (Greek: 2003 Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα FIBA Under-19) was the 7th edition of the FIBA U19 World Championship organized by FIBA. The 1995 FIBA Under-19 World Championship (Greek: 1995 Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα FIBA Under-19) was the 5th edition of the FIBA U19 World Championship. The twelfth edition of the biennial competition, this is also the qualifying tournament for FIBA Americas in the 2023 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Hungary.
