Una Crawford O'Brien is an Irish people, Irish actor. Raised in Clondalkin, she is best-known to television viewers as the character Renee Phelan in long-running soap opera ''Fair City''. She played this role, a woman who was the wife of Christy Phelan, for 11 years before being axed in 2009. While working on the show she was interviewed for the special ''A Fair City for Love''. She appeared on the second season of ''Charity You're a Star'' where she sang duets with her ''Fair City'' co-star Bryan Murray (actor), Bryan Murray. The duo were voted off the show after performing ''Don't Go Breaking My Heart''. Since leaving ''Fair City'' she has been on stage in ''Grumpy Old Women''. She returned to ''Fair City'' in 2012. Clondalkin
Clondalkin ( ; ) is a suburban town situated 10 km south-west of Dublin city centre, Ireland, under the administrative jurisdiction of South Dublin. It features an 8th-century round tower that acts as a focal point for the area. Clondalkin forms part of the Dublin Mid-West Dáil constituency. Clondalkin is also the name of a civil parish in the ancient barony of Uppercross, and is also used in relation to some local religious parishes. ''Charity You're a Star'' (initially known as ''You're a Star Charity Special'') is a talent contest created by Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), in which various Irish celebrities sang to raise money for the Charitable organization, charity of their choice. The show was aired live from Dublin City University's theatre, The Helix (Dublin), The Helix. The first season was named ''You're a Star Charity Special'', which was conceived to be a variation of parent programme ''You're a Star''. Bryan Murray (born 13 July 1949) is an Irish actor. He is known for his extensive television work which includes Fitz in ''Strumpet City'', Flurry Knox in '' The Irish R.M.'', Shifty in '' Bread'' (for which he won BBC TV Personality of the Year), Harry Cassidy in '' Perfect Scoundrels'', Trevor Jordache in '' Brookside'' and Bob Charles in '' Fair City''. Early life and theatre career Murray was born in Dublin, Ireland. As a stage actor, he began his career in Dublin at the Abbey Theatre where, as a member of The Abbey Company, he appeared in over 50 productions. "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" is a 1976 duet by English musician Elton John and English singer Kiki Dee. It was written by John with Bernie Taupin under the pseudonyms "Ann Orson" and "Carte Blanche", respectively, and intended as an affectionate pastiche of the Motown style, notably the various duets recorded by Marvin Gaye and singers such as Tammi Terrell and Kim Weston. John and Taupin originally intended to record the song with Dusty Springfield, but ultimately withdrew the offer; Springfield's partner Sue Cameron later said this was because she was too ill at the time.
