Ukrainian Super Cup
The Ukrainian Super Cup () is an association football game of the Ukrainian Premier League in traditional super cup format that acts as the grand-opening for every new football (soccer), football competition season in Ukraine. Originally it was set as a contest between the winners of the previous season's Ukrainian Premier League, Ukrainian Championship and Ukrainian Cup. From 2008 through 2014, it was branded as the Inter Super Cup of Ukraine, in 2017 – Super Cup Fokstrot. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the competition is currently suspended. 2021 Ukrainian Super Cup
The 2021 Ukrainian Super Cup was the 18th edition of Ukrainian Super Cup, an annual association football, football match contested by the previous season's 2020–21 Ukrainian Premier League, Ukrainian Premier League champions and 2020–21 Ukrainian Cup, Ukrainian Cup winners FC Dynamo Kyiv, Dynamo Kyiv and league runners-up FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Shakhtar Donetsk. Dynamo Kyiv were the defending champions for the third consecutive year, after winning the trophy in 2018 Ukrainian Super Cup, 2018, 2019 Ukrainian Super Cup, 2019, and 2020 Ukrainian Super Cup, 2020, all against Shakhtar Donetsk. 2021–22 Ukrainian Cup
The 2021–22 Ukrainian Cup was the 31st annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The competition started on 4 August 2021 and was expected to be concluded on 11 May 2022 with the final. The Ukrainian Association of Football announced that the new competition sponsor is a betting company VBet, same as for the Ukrainian Premier League. Dynamo Kyiv were the two-time defending winners. All competition rounds consist of a single game with a home field advantage granted to a team from lower league. Draw for all the rounds is blind. Qualification for the competition was granted to all professional clubs and two better of the 2020–21 Ukrainian Amateur Cup. Higher-tier teams enter the competition later (gain bye) than lower-tier teams. At an extraordinary general meeting on 26 April 2022, the competition was abandoned due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Ukrainian Derby
Klasychne derby (Ukrainian: ''Класичне'', as ''Classico''), or the ''Ukrainian football rivalry'' is the football match between the two top Ukrainian clubs Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk. The game between those two clubs is a focal point of each football season in Ukraine. Due to war, at least three of their scheduled fixtures were scratched in 1941 and 2014. Since 2014, Shakhtar sometimes plays in Kyiv due to the Russian aggression which technically turned the rivalry into a city derby. Dynamo and Shakhtar were the top Ukrainian clubs since introduction of the Soviet professional football competitions in 1936. Yuvileiny Stadium is a football stadium in Sumy, Ukraine. It serves as home grounds for Ukrainian First League club FC Viktoriya Sumy, and as a secondary venue for Ukrainian Second League club FC Sumy, whose main field is Avangarde Stadium. Vorskla Stadium
Oleksiy Butovsky Vorskla Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Poltava, Ukraine. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches, and is the home of FC Vorskla Poltava. The stadium holds 24,795 people. Located near the city's center just north of the Poltava Round Square, the stadium is the biggest in the region of Poltava. The Chornomorets Stadium () is a football stadium built in 2011 in Odesa, Ukraine. The stadium has a capacity of 34,164 and is the home of FC Chornomorets Odesa. The inaugural match, between FC Chornomorets Odesa and FC Karpaty Lviv, was played on 19 November 2011, and ended with a 2–2 draw. The first goal was scored by Vitaliy Balashov in the 46th minute from a penalty.
