Karen Aston
Karen Sue Aston (born July 26, 1964) is an American basketball player and coach. She is currently the head coach of the UTSA Roadrunners women's basketball team. She has served as the head women's basketball coach at Texas, Charlotte and North Texas. Aston has a career record of 323–203 (.614). In her first 13 seasons as a head coach, Aston's teams have averaged 22 wins per year and have made a combined ten postseason appearances. Aston was one of four finalists for the Naismith Women's College Coach of the Year award in 2017 and was one of ten semifinalists for the honor in 2018. Convocation Center (University Of Texas At San Antonio)
The Convocation Center is a 4,080-seat multi-purpose arena in San Antonio, Texas, US, on the Main Campus of the University of Texas at San Antonio. It was built in 1975 and is home to the UTSA Roadrunners men's and women's basketball team and women's volleyball teams . UTSA Roadrunners
The UTSA Roadrunners is a collegiate athletic program that represents the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). The UTSA Roadrunners are also commonly referred to as "UTSA", "Roadrunners", or "Runners", and are represented by the mascot Rowdy. The origin of Rowdy dates back to 1977, when the Roadrunner was chosen as the university's mascot by student election. The Southland Conference (SLC) is a collegiate athletic conference which operates in the South Central United States (specifically Texas and Louisiana).
