Ateneo finished first in the elimination round. They eliminated the Adamson Soaring Falcons, who are in their Final Four debut, in the semifinals. Joe Lipa
Jose "Joe" Lipa, Jr. is a Filipino basketball coach and executive who currently coaching the Terrafirma Dyip's 3x3 team in the PBA 3x3. Lipa formerly coached his alma mater, the University of the Philippines, in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines men's basketball. He also had a head coaching stint for the Manila Beer Brewmasters, Ateneo Blue Eagles, the Shell Turbo Chargers and the FedEx Express of the professional Philippine Basketball Association. Lipa is also a former head coach of the national basketball team of the Philippines, coaching the team to a bronze medal finish in the 1986 Asian Games. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), established in 1938, is an athletic association of eight Metro Manila universities in the Philippines. Reonel "Nel" Parado is a Filipino coach. Career Playing A San Beda Red Lion, Parado played for Burger Machine in the PBL. Coaching With Dong Vergeire Parado started his coaching gig with Dong Vergeire, his former teammate at San Beda High School. The Adamson Soaring Falcons are the collegiate men's basketball team of Adamson University, which play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere sports league in the country. History Adamson University along with Manila Central University (MCU), University of Manila and University of the East (UE) were admitted in 1952 on a two-year probationary membership status. Dindo Pumaren
Ferdinand "Dindo" Pumaren, is a retired Filipino professional basketball player and former collegiate coach. In his professional playing career, he was nicknamed "The Bullet" due to his great passing and stealing. Early career Pumaren suited up for San Beda in high school, teaming up with fellow future pros Magsanoc, Altamirano, Paras, Gerry Esplana and Macky de Joya in a formidable squad that won the NCAA and the national secondary crowns in the early 80s. Bert Flores
Bert Flores (born October 27, 1968) is a Filipino coach who serves as an assistant coach of the FEU Tamaraws. Career Flores served as manager of the FEU Tamaraws' basketball team until 2005, when he was appointed as head coach. He steered the Tamaraws to win the championship that year with a Finals revenge against La Salle.
