The U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center (USAASC) is part of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)). USAASC is headquartered at Fort Belvoir, Va. Overview USAASC was established in its current form on October 1, 2002. Military simulations, also known informally as war games, are simulations in which theories of warfare can be tested and refined without the need for actual hostilities.
